MISSION

Leader: Denise Taylor

Our vision is to grow in our appreciation of the needs of others, both locally and globally, and provide financial and material help where we can.

This year we aim to increase our understanding of the needs in our community and focus our efforts on them.

We will provide financial and personnel support for groups such as Anglicare’s “Street Connect” program, Street Chaplains, and Joondalup Christmas Lunch.

We will provide food supplies and personal goods to the Spiers Centre and St Bartholomew’s House.

We will establish a knitting group to make beanies and blankets for the homeless.

To enable us to focus our efforts we will:

  • Invite speakers to special Sunday services, to tell us about their work;
  • Identify organizations in the field and work with them; talk to Joondalup Council about the needs of the local community
  • Encourage parishioners to work with us and to identify specific areas of need.
