Our vision is to build in the parish strong relationships of mutual trust and tolerance, enhanced by events where we enjoy each other’s company.
This year we will extend our events from previous years. We will aim to continue with events such as:
- JAM and GALS breakfasts, both separately and jointly.
- Family breakfasts to which families with young children are invited.
- Sporting events like golf, ten-pin bowling, archery etc.
- Dinners together, such as the successful Scouse night and Curry night.
- Parish picnics after church at Neil Hawkins Park.
- Quiz night at Grace Anglican Church.
- High Tea.
- Music concerts.
We hope to add one or more of the following events:
Sausage Sizzle, Car Boot sale, Pop up Café, Sponsored Walk(s), Progressive Dinner, A sports challenge (table tennis) at the Youth Club.
To make this a reality we will need leaders, and people to work in groups to plan and manage these events. Together we can make Grace a truly ‘Family Church.’
